Formats |
- Word and RTF: unless explicitly requested, the estimate does not include the manipulation of images (with or without text), graphics, diagrams, complex tables, or page make up. Word 97 unless otherwise stated.
- Images: text in a document can be furnished separately and be estimated for as a normal text .
You can also request an estimate for text extraction or image manipulation (in the latter case, the original images must be supplied).
- PowerPoint, PageMaker, QuarkXpress: if special fonts or templates are needed, they must be supplied along with the originals.
The estimate does not include the final page make-up needed, which remains the responsibility of the client. If required, a specific estimate may be requested for this purpose.
- QuarkXpress Tagged Files and PageMaker Tagged Files: If you send the files directly in plain text ( Tagged Files), the procedure is speedier and the surcharge less. In this case, the client is responsible for exporting and reimporting each "article" of the QuarkXpress or PageMaker file.
- SGML (HTML, XML, etc.): unless otherwise stated, the estimate does not include the adaptation of addresses, codes, graphics, etc.; it includes only the translation, with no alteration of any codes or labels.
If such a change is required, clear instructions must be provided and each case is quoted accordingly.
You must provide, in any case, the original files of everything to be translated. You have the following options to do so:

- the whole website or directories structure in a compressed file (using WinZip, for example), or
- upload it all onto our FTP server (we will assign you an exclusive account), or
- we can collect it ourselves from your server through FTP (when you give us access), or naturally,
- you can send it by land mail or courier in a CD.

- For web (HTML, XML, etc.), on-line, interactive projects, etc. (on the Net or on CD), as long as Traduït has agreed to the final on-line version, credit must be given to Traduït with the corresponding link at the bottom of the home page (or wherever credits appear when there is a specific page linked from the home page):

If Traduït only takes care of one language version or a part of the website, the credit will only appear in the corresponding pages.
